Your Time Matters To Us
Volunteers are the backbone of ARC Cancer Support Centres. As an ARC volunteer, you will make an important difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. We simply could not provide the level of services that we do without our wonderful committed volunteers.
Volunteer at our Drop-in Centres
By volunteering at our drop-in centres, you will be the first person our clients meet. By being aware of how cancer can affect an individual or their family and by listening closely, you will provide an invaluable source of comfort, care and kindness to the individual. Training is provided to our drop-in centre volunteers.
Volunteer in our offices
We rely on the generosity of volunteers to maximise the fundraising and promotional opportunities of our events. We are also always looking for support with office administration, database entry, etc. We would love to hear from you, your friends, schools, community organisations or companies who can spare an hour or a half day to help us and have a little fun along the way!
Volunteer with our off site team
ARC continuously aims to create an awareness in the hospitals, healthcare centres and communities by manning information stands in these areas. Off-site volunteering includes delivering ARC literature into oncology wards and departments in the surrounding hospitals.
