Cancer can put a strain on intimate relationships. Treatments for cancer and the disease itself may cause changes in sexual desire and function. If your physical appearance has changed, you may feel less attractive or desirable. At the same time, your partner may feel helpless, fearful, or unsure of how to support you.
Linsey Blair will discuss rebuilding physical intimacy post-cancer treatment. She will introduce the participants to: psychosexual techniques on how to reconnect physically, focusing on sensual rather than sexual touch; desire cycles and the impact of cancer on desire; and psychosexual tools that are used to compensate for changes in genital functioning.
The talk includes Q&A. and partners are most welcome to join this valuable talk.
