Volunteer for our Front-of-House

Volunteers are the backbone of ARC Cancer Support Centres and are essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Drop-in Centres. The role of the volunteer is interesting and varied, full of activity, chat and laughter. Can you make great cups of tea or coffee? Can you open the door with a smile, no matter what the weather is like? Do you think you would feel comfortable and be supportive listening to another person express their worries and concerns? 

Training is provided to our Drop-in Centre volunteers. You will become aware of how cancer can affect an individual or their family and your listening skills will improve. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Linda on 01 707 8880 or email linda@arccancersupport.ie.

Volunteer with our Fundraising Department

To maximise the fundraising and promotional opportunities of our events, we rely on the generosity of volunteers. We would love to hear from you, your friends, schools, community organisations or companies who can spare an hour or a half day to help us and have a little fun along the way! Have you expertise in event management, photography, marketing, PR or communications? Are you skilled in DIY or gardening? Or perhaps you would like to lend your support or steward one of our fundraising events?
