THE ARC FASHION SHOW ENTERS ITS SECOND DECADE AS IRELAND’S MOST SPECATCULAR FASHION EVENT

This year the ARC Fashion Show again supports and celebrates the magnificent work of ARC Cancer Support Centres with spectacular presentations from the collections of 30 Irish fashion and accessories designers.

The ARC Fashion Show will take place on Thursday 23rd April at the RDS Concert Hall, Dublin 4. The Main Sponsor is Davy, for the 2nd year running.

All funds raised will go to ARC Cancer Support Centres, that provide free psychological, emotional, educational and practical support to men, women and children affected by cancer. The show will include four ARC Angels modelling in a spectacular sequence created by designer Caroline Duffy, bringing the number of ARC service users who have participated in the show over the years to forty-four.

The fashion show will be produced and directed by Eddie Shanahan with lighting by internationally acclaimed lighting designer Kevin Saunders and special effects by Visual X. It will be staged on a giant catwalk with a huge electronic backdrop for dramatic effect.
Participating designers come from all over Ireland - Antrim, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Offaly, Waterford, Wexford & Wicklow. 

The designer line-up includes AndTate by Sharon Hoey , August Night,  Caroline Duffy, Celtic Tweed, Helen Cody, Éadach by Sara O’Neill, Emerald & Wax, Fauna with Capulet & Montague, FéRí, Sarah Foy,  Helen Hayes, Noema James, Kindred of Ireland, Orla Langan, Magee 1866, Miss She’s Got Knits, Caroline Mitchel and Hazel Greene, Mona Swims, Monessa Joan, Moon+Mellow, Jack Murphy,- Original Ireland, Silvia Ortega, Pearl Reddington, Jennifer Slattery, The Linen Shirt Company, Linda Wilson, Urban Aran.

The collections will include looks for daywear, leisurewear and after dark. Many designers will show beautiful Irish linens and luxurious Irish tweeds. Expect to see alpaca, cashmere, organic cotton and silks too. Knitwear collections will feature soft merino wools and rich cashmere blends. Internationally acclaimed Kindred of Ireland will provide a spectacular finale to the show.

The ARC Fashion Show takes place on Thursday, 23rd April in the RDS Concert Hall, Dublin 4. Doors open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm sharp.
